ARLINGTON, TX, June 24, 2005.
Steve Vaughn (MI) and Todd Devereaux (NE)
have started their own businesses providing cosmetic reconditioning and enhancement services for cars, trucks, boats, busses, and even RV vehicles.
M.A.R.S. International’s services also provide for furniture repairs (leather, vinyl, or velour) and odor removal for both business and residential customers.
Vaughn and Devereaux received their M.A.R.S. certification in cosmetic reconditioning Friday.
They are excited about starting their own
businesses, which will help local dealerships increase their profits and sell their used vehicle inventory more quickly and with better margins and more value to their
customers.
A majority of used cars require some form of cosmetic work before it is ready for the sales lot. If a car smells bad, has torn or stained interior, or if it has a hole in the bumper most buyers will walk away from it, even if it is a reliable car. In fact, very few people are aware that they can get chips, scratches, and minor bumper damage fixed for a small fraction of what a Body Shop has to charge for similar small repairs.
Vaughn and Devereaux are returning home after completing two weeks of rigorous training at the M.A.R.S. National Training Center in Arlington, Tex.
Their training includes an additional two weeks of field training provided by a successful MARS Operator in their
region. Both completed an extensive qualification and interview process before becoming a M.A.R.S. Operator.
They join hundreds of successful M.A.R.S. Operators located throughout the United States.
