MARS International held its annual convention Wed., Jan. 26-Sun., Jan. 30. A substantial number of Operators nationwide attended this year’s event, themed ‘Creating Opportunities’.

At the convention, a number of Operators were recognized for the successful strides made throughout 2004. The awards presented were:


Highest Start-Up Week went to Lou Turso (IN).

Highest Weekly Production for a Team went to Scott Harris (MS).

Highest Monthly and Yearly Production awards for a Team went to Brandon Harris (IN).

Highest Weekly, Monthly, and Yearly Production awards for a Single Operator went to Brett Barkdoll (OR).

The Most Improved Operator of the Year went to Nathan Chisolm (MS).

Paul Ellis (TX) was selected for the Operators Award by the attending Operators, recognizing his contribution to their success.

Field Interviewer of the Year went to Mark Steinbach (CO).

Field Trainer of the Year went to Brian Burkhardt (TX).

Reference of the Year went to Don & Wanda Slater (FL).

Spouse of the Year went to Darlene Burnett (IN).

Rookie of the Year went to Branden Ashburn (IN).

Trainee of the Year went to Steve Hippe (MT).

The President’s Award went to Ward Lien and Devon Davidson (MT).

The Comic Relief Award went to Mike Hughes (GA).
