ARLINGTON, TX,
August 24, 2005.
M.A.R.S.
International is excited to announce that
the State of
Texas
has approved the M.A.R.S. International
Training Institute as a recognized career
school.
“While
MARS Operators have known for some time that
our training is the best in the business,
this new certification places us in an elite
status in our industry,” said Jayson
Jones, President and Director of Training.
“We will work very hard to maintain this
new status which requires annual reviews to
ensure that our quality and commitment to
excellent training remains at a high
level.”
Mel
Luigs, Chief Operating Officer, said “The
effort that went into the application
process to the State of
Texas
was extensive and thorough. We went through
the same application and review that every
college in the state goes through. We will
have the same annual review required of the
University
of
Texas
and Baylor.
“M.A.R.S.
International is one of very few industry
members that have a state certified training
program, proving us to be the national
leader in quality appearance reconditioning
services for vehicles and consumer
products.”
The
certification was received by M.A.R.S.
International this week after an application
process that took over 3 months to complete.
During this process, a field visit was
conducted by state educators to ensure that
the training and facilities were as stated
in the application. The first follow-up
review and inspection will occur in 90 days
and then annual inspections will be
completed every August to maintain the state
certification. The inspection process is
very thorough and requires constant
attention to maintain certification by the
state.
“MARS
Operators work hard everyday to keep this
franchise at an extremely high quality level
and they have supported this project in
every way, “stated Donovan Hall, Executive
Vice President. “All current Operators
have benefited from the quality training we
provide. The State of
Texas
now recognizes our hard work and commitment
to excellence this.”
