MARS Advisory Council
MARS is a company built on the individual business owner. As the company
grows, it is imperative to improve communications and the working
relationship between the franchisor and franchisees. In May 2007, MARS
announced the foundation of the MARS Advisory Council (MAC) to help in
achieving that goal. As the MARS franchise system expands to fill the needs of the wholesale and retail consumer, increasingly important to nurture the relationship between MARS and its family of operators.
The MAC serves each year from February to the following February when the
MARS operators attending the annual convention elect new MAC
representatives.
The council contains 10 members, six by region, three legacy franchisees,
and one sponsored employee franchisee. The six regional Council members
represent specific geographic regions and the four other members serve as
“At Large” members.
MARS operators were instrumental in creating the council and continue to be
an integral part of it’s development. The MAC keeps MARS targeted and aware
of field issues and helps to identify priorities, test new products and initiatives, and provide constructive feedback. |
