Evolution From MARS International into Global MARS

The dictionary defines evolution as “the gradual development of something into a more complex or better form”.  That definition is an accurate description of the transformation that occurred as MARS International evolved into Global MARS!

This change didn’t happen overnight.  It was the culmination of a series of events and decisions over many months of transition.  For almost twenty years, David Jones was the driving force behind MARS International.  His visionary leadership led the company to become the recognized leader in the mobile appearance reconditioning industry.  For the past eighteen months, David has been slowly “working himself out of a job” with MARS so that he could officially retire from the day-to-day business operations and devote more time to the care of his wife who has been battling the effects of MS.

After exploring several options for the future leadership of the company, David decided to sell the assets of MARS International to a new corporate entity, Global MARS, with Jayson Jones as President/CEO.  Over the past two decades, Jayson has served in almost every department in the company including a six year term as President/CEO.  So, he is uniquely qualified to provide the transformational executive leadership that is essential in meeting the challenges of our constantly changing global economy.

The transition to Global MARS occurred in late February, 2009 as a part of an overall corporate reorganization strategy that realigned some of the staffing responsibilities and added a larger headcount to the operations side of the business.  These changes and new leadership make Global MARS  a company poised for sustained growth over the next decade.  In a word, the evolution to Global MARS is “better”…for everyone!
